Radio Via Web
I never thought that the radio stations across the world would work through links provided by MIT. Call me skeptical. Well to my amazement it actually worked and I found myself intrigued by the concept of listening to one of Ireland's radio stations from my desk. The alternative music blasted from my speakers as I sat stupified that this could actually be happening. The website also allowed the surfer to listen to pod-casts and look at recent playlist from the station. There were an array of nodes that one could access hundreds of links. It's amazing how far we've come in the world of communications via web. The capabilities seem endless. The stations played decent tunes, although not my favorite genre. It's absolutely worth checking into for the set-up and the different nature of the website and the station itself.

Wow, Ireland seems to have some different music than we do. Their was a picture on the opening page of a band of guys dressed in spandex clothing. The U.S already went through the boy band stage. I don't think that band would go over too well over here.
