American Indian/Alaska Natives

It might be overlooked, but American Indians as well as natives from Alaska are considered to be minorities in the U.S. I originally found out about these minorities through www.cdc.gov, which is the site for minority health. Apparently these people have origins in any of the original people from North and South Americas and still have tribes around the U.S. with their own cultures and beliefs. It was interesting to find out how some, and most tribes get a different type of health care within the federally recognized tribes. Their health care may be poorer because of spirtiual beliefs or from their lifestyle. I liked this site because of how much I didn't know about these people and that they even still resided in tribes among the U.S.
