Sites for Those who are Deaf

As i was browsing the internet trying to figure out what group to look at i found a huge amount of websites for those who are deaf. There were a ton of sites from those who children, parents, sites like Deafsinglesconnection.com a dating sites for people who are deaf. There were chat rooms, links to magazines and news papers. There were events and education sites, foundations and sites about deaf culture, technology, interpreting and all other types of things. I thought it was all very neat and interesting. There were so many sites and resources for people who are deaf. There was this one site called Deaf Zone, which was a very neat and user friendly site that seemed to be for a twenty something audience. Deaf Linx was very very informational site, while deaf children was more of an organization for the rights of deaf children. Deaf.com was a deaf community that i though was the best i can across. They had chats, news and a bunch of magazines you could subscribe to. I never really realized how many sites were out there for people who are deaf or noticing other peoples post, the blind and other groups. Its great to see the building of global communities amongst different groups.

I think that it is great that minority groups like the death and the blind have a place to go to see and talk to people who are going through what they go through. It is easy access to a support group and gives inspiration to everyone, even people who are not blind or death.
