WWW.Australia.gov.au is the official Australian government site. I would say that the Australian government is "branding" their nation as being motivated to improve in all aspects of the country. The site informs you about the government initiatives as well as information for all citizens and tourists about the country.

I agree. Australia promotes themselves in a great light. but its not exactly in your face or overwhemling. Its a very laid back way of doing it.
I like the RSS/Podcast page, myself. I need to find out if we have this on US government sites too.
