Diversity in Sports

Speaking of diversity in the communication field...Professional athletes now come from all over the world and many of them actually need translators to communicate with teammates and management, and more and more great players at this time aren't even from the U.S. Having more diverse players in the U.S. brings a lot more attention in the media. For example Daisuke Matsuszaka is a recently aquired pitcher for the Red Sox who was very popular in the Japanese league. He has Japanese media following him around constantly as do most of the other Japanese players in the league. The Professional Sports organization in America is one organization that understands diversity and gains many profits from this.

Great example about the Red Sox and Daisuke. How many things has the organization done to try to keep him happy!
