Dallas Morning News

"Egyptian pharaoh's locks were stolen, put up for sale online" 10:55 PM CDT on Tuesday, April 10, 2007 by the Associated Press. This article gives all the facts and is interesting because the types of things that are sold on e-bay always amuse Americans. The article does not say where online the hair of the 3,200 year-old mummy is being sold. Its just one of those odd unusual things that people do to get money. As a local point of view it really doesn’t relate or capture it.

Interesting to know someone tried to sell a 3,000 + year old mummy. but its even more interesting to see this on the front page of a texas newspaper. I find that all these outside international stories are bias, so that american readers will gravitate toward the article.

I agree...a lot of the time international articles are tainted with american biases. This is definitely an article i would have stopped to read. I would like to know local reaction. I'm sure the story in Egyptian papers is pretty interesting. and i guess you CAN buy anything on ebay.
